Natalie Veilleux

Counselor - Cello

Natalie began playing cello through Portland Schools in the 4th grade and studied privately with local music teachers. She studied cello at Furman University with Christopher Hutton and earned her bachelors degree in music education from the University of Southern Maine where she studied with Bill Rounds. Currently she is working in Oxford Hill teaching middle school orchestra and elementary school band and orchestra. After school she runs a string quartet at the high school as well as teaching private violin, viola and cello lessons. Natalie was a camper at SMSC for 5 years and is very excited to be a member of the staff!
