LIFE AT CAMP
Daily Life
Every day, campers dive into a full schedule of engaging rehearsals, exciting activities, and unforgettable evening performances. After rehearsals, there's ample time for swimming, kayaking, tennis, arts and crafts, and other fun options! Our picturesque waterfront is overseen by YMCA lifeguards who are CPR-certified. We also organize several activities that bring the entire camp together, such as campfires, field games, a skit show, and a dance.
Daily Schedule
After breakfast, the day begins with orchestra, chamber music, and sectional rehearsals, followed by a brief activity period before lunch. After lunch, we take a break to rest before the longer afternoon orchestra rehearsal. Once rehearsals are done for the day, the afternoon activity period begins, giving campers the chance to enjoy a variety of amenities like staff-led field games, arts and crafts, and waterfront activities. The day concludes with an evening faculty concert, followed by a camp-wide activity.
Dining
Most of our meals are enjoyed outdoors, as weather permits. Campers dine family-style with their bunkmates and counselor. The YMCA-run kitchen ensures that all dietary needs are accommodated, offering a variety of options for vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and other special diets. If you have specific dietary requirements, be sure to include them on your health form.
