Alana Trottier

Alana Trottier grew up in Roswell, Georgia where she played violin from age 8 until finishing her high school's orchestra program. She moved to Maine in 2001 after attending the University of Georgia. She is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine School of Nursing. She has 17 years of nursing experience including 16 years at Maine Medical Center in Portland. In 2017, she became the Clinical Nurse Educator of critical care developing education, competencies, and onboarding for the medical, surgical, and neuro critical care units. She served as president of the Maine chapter of the American Association of Critical-care Nurses (AACN) for three years. She is in a newly created position of District Resource Nurse for the Biddeford Schools helping to keep medically fragile students in school. Alana loves audiobooks, podcasts, and the Georgia Bulldogs. She lives in Saco with her husband and son.
