Hanna Flewelling

Hanna began her violin studies at age five with Elizabeth Miller. In the spring of 2013, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. She is going into her sixth year of teaching in RSU14 (Windham/Raymond), and currently directs the instrumental music program at Windham High School, including both concert band and orchestra. In addition to her work in Windham, Hanna runs a small violin studio, and is entering her first year as the conductor for the Portland Young People’s String Consort (PYPSC) at USM. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, telling awful puns, and playing nerdy board games. Hanna has been on the SMSC faculty since 2013.
