Alex Norberg has been playing cello since the 2nd grade and is now continuing his cello studies under Jacques Lee Wood at the University of New Hampshire. Previously, he has studied with Gerri Lajoie, Ted Mook, and Emileigh Vandiver. He enjoys playing all styles of music, from classical to Cajun, and is currently a coach for the UNH Youth Symphony, as well as a private cello teacher. Alex has played with the Warwick Symphony, Rhode Island College Orchestra, and the Rhode Island Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, which he recently performed with at Carnegie Hall. He has attended the National Music Festival in Maryland, and Aria International Academy. Alex lives in Rhode Island, so of course he also enjoys going to the beach with friends and family!
